Kellie & Christina ~ 5.28.22

They say if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it’s yours. That’s how you know. It’s for Keeps, yeah, it’s for sure. This is Kellie and Christina’s love story!

The two met when they were 14 but didn’t date until they were 21. For the next 7 years, they were inseparable until they sadly went their separate ways.

Fast forward to 2018 when the two reconnected and realized, they were meant to be. Forever.

In 2020, when the world was in complete chaos, Christina planned her proposal while the two were out at Hocking Hills. Christina wrote Kellie a 5-page letter of their past and present, had a dozen roses waiting, and led Kellie outside to several bags laid out that read, “Will you marry me”, and proposed.

On May 28, Kellie and Christina were surrounded by family and friends, who represented with PRIDE, on a beautiful, sunny Saturday at the Venice Club. There were flower Guys, Beer Guys, and rainbow colored smoke bombs that made this day memorable!

Thank you, Kellie and Christina, for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you two nothing but the best!

Angelic & Leachuin ~ 5.28.17

Oh...let me tell you about this fun-loving, adorable couple who met at Ohio University and got married over Memorial Day weekend. I first met with Angelic last December and at that moment, we connected. One of my favorite things about our meeting was how she and her soon to be groom met. Angelic tried to avoid Shawn like the plague but ended up finding themselves committing to each other as husband and wife 11 years later.

On May 28, the forecast predicted rain. The ceremony location was set for outdoors at the beautiful Northstar Golf Club. While everyone was getting ready, the dark clouds were rolling in and at times it looked as if the storm was going to ruin the proposed plan to say "I Do" outside. As the time approach for everyone to take their positions, the sky returned to its baby blue color and the sun was shining down on everyone in attendance. Needless to say, the rain held out until the last hour of the reception and at that point...no one cared.

Thank you Angelic and Shawn for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you two nothing but the best!

Special shout out to the fabulous Kate Heitkamp of kHa Lifestyle Photography for helping me capture some really awesome shots!

Adesha & Angie ~ 10.29.16

Adesha & Angie ~ 10.29.16

As the wedding season is coming to an end, I am overcome with joy to say that I have added another wedding to my belt. If you've read my first ever blog, you all know that I am NOT a wedding photographer. The very first wedding I photographed made me realize that I MAY venture into weddings in the distant future lol. However...photographing Adesha and Angie's wedding made me realize that; that future is now.

Adesha and I have known each other for almost a decade when we met through a mutual friend, Tina (The Maid of Honor). Angie and I met shortly thereafter during one of the holiday weekends. In the past year, the three of us have become closer as they were preparing for their wedding by committing to a healthier lifestyle (I was their unprofessional personal trainer). Little did I know that I was going to be asked to be their photographer for their engagement shoot and wedding. As long as I have known these two, I never knew how they actually met. It all started because Angie kept "needing" change for a $20 bill, she purposely had to gain Adesha's attention.

After that, it lead us to this day!

Angie and Adesha said "I Do" on one of the most perfect fall days in Ohio. The temperature was in the 70s and there was lots of sun. When the evening arrived, the party began! There was so much laughter and dancing (dance-off, soul train line, and The Perculator) from everyone that attended. One of the things I witnessed within the walls of this venue, was the love that Angie and Adesha had for each other and also the love that their guest had for them. Love was certainly in the atmosphere the entire day, and I'm glad I was able to witness it.

Thank you Angie & Adesha for allowing me to be a part of your journey into matrimony, I wish you two the best!
